9/30/2026 · Kitco News

Spot gold climbed 1.42 percent to near 4172.40 dollars per ounce on Tuesday, while silver advanced 1.23 percent to 61.27 dollars, recovering from the prior session's decline thanks to softer U.S. labor and consumer data. August JOLTS openings dropped to 7.079 million and September consumer confidence fell to 81.9, cutting October rate hike probabilities to 51.5 percent.
