Gold Could Reclaim $5,000/oz in Two Years, Catalyst Funds’ Miller Says

8/11/2026 · Kitco News

David Miller, CIO and Co-Founder of Catalyst Funds, sees gold heading back to $5,000 an ounce in two to two-and-a-half years amid persistent deficits, inflation and central-bank diversification from the dollar. He stated, “I think you could see 5,000 an ounce, but I think it could take two, two and a half years to get back there.” Miller expects mid-to-high single-digit price gains this year, driven by ongoing central-bank buying, notably from China, and U.S. fiscal spending.
