Gold prices remained steady near $4,327.50 an ounce, while silver rose to $68.02. Safe-haven demand from Middle East tensions was offset by firmer rate expectations after the latest US jobs report.
Nonfarm payrolls increased by 172,000 in May with unemployment steady at 4.3%. This capped gold's rebound as markets shift focus to upcoming CPI and PPI releases.
Renewed Israel-Iran exchanges briefly lifted Brent above $98 before easing to $94.78, with WTI near $91.83. The dollar index stood at 99.96 and 10-year Treasury yields hovered around 4.6%.
Technically, gold faces resistance at $4,350-$4,370 with support at $4,300. Silver eyes a move above $70, with downside support at $65-$66.
