PBOC Makes Largest Gold Purchase Since 2023

The People’s Bank of China has extended its gold-buying streak to 21 straight months, acquiring 20 tonnes in July — the biggest monthly rise since October 2023. World Gold Council analyst Krishan Gopaul noted year-to-date additions reached 60 tonnes, lifting total holdings to 2,366 tonnes.
